Features

Horse Performance is a product that affects the recovery time of horses during training. Increased recovery results in increased resilience, better immune defense and less stiffness. Using Horse Performance also increases the horse's ability to retain water.

Horse Performance is based on phosphorus to increase the horse's performance by transporting waste products from the muscle mass more quickly. The minerals calcium (Ca) and phosphorus (P) play an important role in the proper growth and development of the skeleton in horses, where most horses often have too little phosphate.

Horse Performance consists of phosphate and energy.

Phosphate is needed to bind oxygen to the red blood cells and to deliver oxygen to the tissues (easier for oxygen molecules to attach to the red blood cells). Phosphorus is important for glucose to pass through cell membranes. Glucose is water soluble, but becomes fat soluble by binding to phosphorus and a protein.

Dosage and use

84 g mixed with beetroot, as the sugar in beetroot stimulates the absorption of phosphate in the intestine. Can also be mixed with water.

The dosage should not be exceeded. Intakes greater than recommended may cause stomach upset. Horses 3 years of age and younger, or pregnant mares, do not benefit from this product. The reason for this is that young and pregnant horses have enough phosphate in their bodies.

TIP:
The first week the horse receives Horse Performance it is recommended to give 168 grams per day. This will bring the horse's phosphate level up to a normal level. After a week of 168 grams, go down to 84 grams per day. This maintains the phosphate balance in the body. 3-4 days before the start/competition you can use 168 grams to be sure that the phosphate level in the body is at its peak. On very large horses you can increase the dosage slightly.
